In what way doesn’t it wash? It wasn’t real football. It was training that was screened live on Sky Sports. Do you think bizarre results like Villa 7-2 Liverpool and City 2-5 Leicester are happening with fans present in the stadium? I think absolutely any manager you ask would agree that the conditions wildly impacted the outcome of games that season to be honest with you.

I don't know what club DCL will be with next season but if it is at Everton I think he could do well under David Moyes.

If you are playing a competitive game of football it is not going to be swayed that much by fans in my opinion.
