Only reason he didn't leave is because he got injured, his form dropped of a cliff and the teams he expected to come in for him just didn't.

He still had every intention of binning us off at his first chance.

Is it "binning us off" or is it moving on to another challenge? Granted for a pay bump and to potentially play in Europe.

People always make it too personal with DCL, I don't think you can blame him for wanting to leave at the time, the club was still in ownership limbo with Dyche at the helm. It was probably his last chance saloon at getting a "big move".

Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to stay. Bit that's just because I think it's ran it's course and both parties need to move on. Also, think it's unfair to Beto if DCL is retained.

Not so much this year as injuries took its toll - his goal scoring has dropped off which is a worry for any striker.... I feel he will leave on a free...
