Yeah Joyce name dropped him and one or two other Journalists did too at the same time. Pretty sure Moyes didn’t though.Don't think he did.

Wouldn't mind Harry Wilson eitherLooks a bit lightweight for the prem.
Think Pat Nevin, John Collins.
A bit predictable in his approach play, can't / doesn't have the strength in his right foot to whip in a first time quality ball from by the touch line.
His pace and skill levels are good but does seem to be playing in a five a side manner
too often and footage of his defensive and positional strengths are missing.
He's no Désiré Nonka-Maho Doué or Bradley Jean-Manuel Essolisam Addo Barcola which is probably why Liverpool will get rid and laugh all the way to the bank and count their transfer kitty Harry Wilson style.
Did he? Are you thinking of Delap by any chance? He mentioned Delap because he has a release clause. I never heard him mention Doak at all but I may be wrong on that
what did Moyes say?
Can't see why they wouldn't these days, tbh. We're further from rivals that we've been in a long time. This lad isn't getting a sniff of their first team, and they can mug their dear neighbours off for a good few bob. Seems like a no-brainer to me.Can't see them selling him to us.
Would need him to be insistent he's only coming here.

Bore off you sour-faced old tangerine.£30M for a Liverpool reserve team player with 3 appearances for them before they punted him to a Championship team.
That'd be a summer of 2016 type signing.

Moyes said we want "Elite" players now, I hope TFG get recruitment right so that we may challenge for the top places.Wouldn't mind Harry Wilson either

If he is crap, they can buzz off us, and if he is boss, they can say "haha, your best player couldn't even get in our team."
Throwing good money at lousy players.Of course, exactly the type of signing we were making in 2016.
Not in the least, but my point is that they don't have anything to lose from doing the deal. Even in the best case scenario (for us) they would still brag as if they got the better of the deal. Why would anyone care about that if he was boss?
People seem to be expecting the finished article at 19 years old. You’re paying for potential. Some clubs are happy to sell because they don’t want to hang around so buy the ready made player for big fees. We can’t afford to do it that way. I personally like the strategy of buying up young potential and hopefully watching them progress in a blue shirt. Good sound business strategy too.hes 19 …
also a bit mad to compare him to Doue
I’m afraid we won’t be signing anyone of his calibre this window
