Very happy to see the loan move become permanent. More Fulham and Newcastle performances coming next season.

Don't get the two year deal though. Was that specific request from Alcaraz as can't think of any permanent signing that has ever signed for less than 3 years (and 4 is the standard length now with the odd five year deal for players around 20-21).

So he does well next season and he's going to only have 18 months left straight away and liable to be poached by someone else.

Yeah, he's not great. But he's very useful to have if you're fighting to stay in this PL.

If I were Sunderland I'd be in there for him, because that young team will need the sort of experience, workmate and goals he can offer.

Can see Doucoure ending up at Burnley if he wants to stay in the North West. They were far too lightweight last time they were up and struggled on set plays so he can at least give them that presence.

Yeah, he's not great. But he's very useful to have if you're fighting to stay in this PL.

You are banging on that his 1 in 7 isn’t to be sniffed at etc while he has been playing for an ultra defensive manager and now you are suggesting it wouldn’t be enough for them because they play with a defensive style?

He’ll only have 12 months. His deal is to June 2027.
