2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Off to Rangers thankfully.
New ambitious American owners who can spend as much as they want.
Doesn’t even matter who they get in as manager, DCL is fine with Ancelotti, or their second choice Big Dunc.

Guaranteed European football and even Dominic can score up there

Not only will he look great in a kilt, this would send @davek head into orbit.

One of the below is considered a cult hero/legend by large portions of the fanbase (myself included).

The other is getting chased out the club.

Go figure.

Interesting stats. They confirm what I've always known: our modern "heroes" are third rate in the pantheon of Everton greats.

The only thing I will say, however, is that one of the above actually won a medal while with us. That always helps.

Because he’s not as bad as some fans make out. He clearly needs to finish better to be a starting striker, but he’s a nailed on quality sub without a large transfer fee in a first team with only 13 players and 1 other proven striker option.

I don’t want him on 100k a week on his current form, but I also don’t want to spend 30M+ for a gamble that turns out to be another Maupay, Rondon, Tosun, or Sandro.

Just for the reason of debate;

If he still had a couple of years on his contract how much would we want for him?
If he played for another club. What would we be willing to pay for him?

I’d argue he’s worth upwards of £10m. £100k a week for 2 years = £10m

Why are you holding the club to the standards of the past?

If we're signing the likes of Sandro or Maupay now we're goosed anyway.

DCL isn't up to it. We should get rid and get better.
