This thread used to be my safe haven and it's been spammed to crap about a term of endearment regarding our old stadium.

The Head-lockName them after Everton legends.
Wonder who will be the lemon looking cat in 100 years time that will be fuming on the net that some echo journo has referred to the ground as the over the hill stadiumThis thread used to be my safe haven and it's been spammed to crap about a term of endearment regarding our old stadium.![]()
This has been my 'go to' thread from day 1, but TBF it's just not been the same place since the days where we could see visible evidence of progress with every new drone footage. This thread used to be my safe haven and it's been spammed to crap about a term of endearment regarding our old stadium.![]()
Different phase now for sure. Watching the build was amazing, seeing minor changes now isnt so exciting. I imagine internal changes are impressive and its a shame Everton haven't been a bit more active giving updates on the internal fit out. Must all be top secret.....This has been my 'go to' thread from day 1, but TBF it's just not been the same place since the days where we could see visible evidence of progress with every new drone footage.
definately not that earlyEarly to mid 80s it had a few airings according to a google search.
Legends.Duncan Ferguson?
I think you’re in the wrong threadBeautiful stadium, proud to call it our new home.
Stuff like this makes it harder to create a new identity, as befits a move to another venue.
There's a marketing team at this club and they should be all over this and offering a vision as to who we are as a club and what they see us standing for.
If stuff like this and 'The Grand Old Lady' ale house is anything to go by they dont have any vision whatsoever and are just happy to let any patchwork quilt dedicated to the past to emerge.
You can always rely on Everton FC to screw things up.
What? The worst thing Everton did was call the Spellow, the Spellow, or the Oak, The Oak.
Saying that, even worse was naming the other pub 'The Brick'. Ridiculous decision by Everton imo, what has a farm in Yorkshire got to do with a Pub frequented by Evertonians? Also, the Oak. We're Everton taking the mickey out of us, they may as well have called it Woodison.
The Brick, just cause the building is made of brick, big deal. Trust Everton to make a mess of naming those pubs.
Read it again but with a sarcastic voice. What?
