A lot gets said on here about that lot and their fandom but the reality for most of us is that we’ll have friends and/or family in that crowd.

Sickening stuff. Hope the fella gets the book thrown at him (and mercilessly beaten in nick, obvs).
Correct, I have a 25 year friend (Man City fan) who attended today with his LFC supporting wife. Thankfully they’ve told me they’re back in their hotel.

ye he’s been pulled for whatever reason and then tried to drive off?
how did he get that point in the car?

Yeah, there be no way to get access down those streets unless he was already parked there. Don't know if theyd open the roads.
Also didn't have enough space to do major speed.

Plenty to answer for

I wonder if those who called it a terrorist attack are sticking to their guns? @matty1878

I don’t think this is fair tbh.

There’s been numerous incidents of cars driving into crowds that have been terror related.

This had all the hallmarks of it on first appearances.

Doesn’t matter either way. It’s a tragic episode and what’s actually happened seems to make even less sense than a terrorist attack.

What was going through that man’s mind god only knows.

Absolutely horrendous and is happening all too frequently these days. I hope the driver gets what's coming the [Poor language removed]

Not seen any videos, but going by what's been said on here it sounds like the driver was highly agitated, possibly angry. Could be panic, could be red mist took over, could be a number of things caused him to do what he did.

Regardless, my thoughts are with all those he hit and the poor people who witnessed it. I'm also desperately hoping no-one has been killed or left with life-altering injuries.
