The Phoenician Scheme.

A really hard film to describe !

Visually stunning, sumptuous sets, ensemble cast, lead by Benicio del Torro, really funny in parts, yet dull in others.

It’ll be a film that the critics will love, as it’s so quirky and arty, but I can see it flopping at the box office.

Took the family to watch the new Lilo and Stitch film this morning at the cinema, it was basically 3 for the price of 1 because the film started before 12pm at reel cinema.
The film was actually a really good family film. The little girl playing Lilo was so good, I cried 3 times, it is funny as well.

Well after that Everton win I had to celebrate and go watch the final mission impossible film

I think I saw the first film when I was a kid but never really watched any of the other other sequels so was worried I may not understand some of the plot or certain references but it was pretty easy to follow for the most part

Obviously there are some great action scenes but it does drag on for 3 hours

My biggest criticism would probably be the underwater scene where they made a 160 pounds tom cruise somehow dislodge a 30,000 ton submarine but I guess that is the magic of the silver screen.

Overall it’s a 6.5/10

I too watched the fugitive again, it still is pretty good.
The daft explosions for when the train crash happens, in that they are very obviously that, set charges, and theres a couple of clunky scenes here or there. But Mr Fors & Mr Lee Jones in particular are very watchable and carry it very well.

Still 7/10 for me.
