I think that’s a great shout. He’s settled down and looks more confident for sure. Full backs need to carry a threat going forward in the modern game and he’s added a bit in the last few months.
It does help when you have a manager who wants his fullbacks to go past the halfway line, and probably has them practicing in training to pass and whip balls in, and not hoofing out from 18 yard boxs

Good performance and an excellent result especially considering the motivation that the opponents had just a shame that Aston Villa lost. Alcaraz and Gueye were very good and if it wasn't for Pope the scoreline would have been more emphatic, just an side on the referee who seemed to have lost his cards for Newcastle as how that Guimaraes didn't get booked was a disgrace.

Great way to end the season, especially in a match where we had nothing to gain in terms of league placing. I went for Alcaraz as MOTM, but Pickford ran him close. Bet he loved baiting their horse-battering fans by keeping a well-earned clean sheet.

Now we need to lock in a few players like Alcaraz and capitalise on the buzz about the club. With the turnaround in form under Moyes, the emotional farewell to Goodison and the excitement about the new gaff, there's no reason why we can't translate it to a push for a European place next season.

Well pleased with that, sadly my provider service was very poor today, so I could only follow on Sky Sports, which is a load of biased crap.

Such a good result, well done blues.

Well happy with that display today. Not just the win but the way we went about it. Better finishing could have seen us with 3 possibly 4.
The pleasing part is we actually attempt to play some football now and at times today it was very good. Ndiaye just baffles me the way he rides challenges from several players at the same time and still comes away with it. You just think 'No Way'.

Looking forward to what Moyes can do with a few better players coming in.....defo minimum mid table
Can't help but feel that win just put a massive target on the backs of JB, OB and Charly. Because of a certain dikweed at Old Trafford, Newcastle could now buy all three like we take a piss.

That win could well do more harm long-term than if they'd all had stinkers. But maybe that's just learned behaviour from the Mosh years. Plus, I don't really blame Gordon for wanting out, especially after the shenanigans after Southampton did us in Lamp's last home game.
