It's 'widely rumoured' but no official word on it . . soIs this legit that they are asking for first few games to be away?
TripeAgree pretty sure widely known, though not confirmed.
Rumours that Moyes when saw it has asked for a different office for starters but interesting if actually true he has asked the ref's room to be moved as apparently is currently nearest to away dressing room (doesn't want them in the refs ear) while our dressing room is more round the corner.
Hope so.... 1st Premier League game is on the youngest's 4th birthday. Ideally we will be away, but even if we are home he is the only one out of the 3 of us that wasn't eligible for a ST. Happy Birthday son.... we are off the match! It's 'widely rumoured' but no official word on it . . so![]()
It wouldn’t surprise me, said about two years ago that I never expected things to go smoothly, I still half expect us to appear back at Goodison at some point. We have already been proved we were far too optimistic with our original dates. We haven’t even had a proper test event yet, just two very small versions where most got off at half time anyway. Is this legit that they are asking for first few games to be away?
Already 8 months late on original plan, and still not even close to having an actual proper test event. Those two were pretty much a waste of time. The first full capacity first team game in pre-season is going to be absolutely carnage.Think they need to concentrate on ensuring it’s ready for use by the start of the season .

EXACTLYImagine this.
The new stadium had been built at an old disused wharf called Hill Dickinson Dock in honour of some shipping magnate from the mid Victorian era in the 19th century.
And we had been crowing for several years, as we would have been, about our new home at HDD.
Then the naming rights had come up and a firm of lawyers, Bramley Moor and Associates, had won the race.
And the stadium was to be called the Bramley Moor Stadium.
The fume over the new name would have been reversed and most of us, including myself, would have been raging on Thursday and Friday as the news broke.

True, there isn't a great deal of difference between Hill Dickinson and Bramley Moore, it's just two random surnames jammed together. Dock is better than stadium, in my opinion at least, but I'm not sure it's a huge issue. It'll all be forgotten about by Christmas anyway.Imagine this.
