It could have been better at the end and Tony Bellew was not good enough IMHO regardless of our Latin motto. My opinion that trying to hold a post-match celebration to account based on an arbitrary Latin saying that had bore no resemblance to our identity for going on 4 decades now is silly, is no less relevant for not having watched the match, me old China.
I don't think I've ever referred to fish and chips as a fish supper before, but white wine with fish seemed the right choiceSauvignon Blanc with a fish supper ????
You’re very obviously not from Nogsy are you![]()
Love the picture from the Hill Dickinson Stadium looking towards Goodison in a haze of blue smoke.
I'm sorry to say that I missed that divine moment, never realised he was a blue![]()
Wow what a day , the emotion , the atmosphere . I had to turn the volume down on the tele at one point .
Don’t feel too sad, feel happy and a bit privileged to have seen footy at goodison. The way so many folks speak about put ground makes it all feel worth while.
That live rendition of Spirt Of the Blues was unreal.
I guess it's down to the new owners to give them something to be excited about. Watching largely crap players for three decades doesn't inspire fans to scream and shout with enthusiasm except for when they're feeling hard done by.Really? I thought the atmosphere was terrible again. It's a massive concern for how bad the crowd is with the new stadium in mind.
