Just got home after a day out on the bike with my lad. Don’t know much about how the game went, but looks like a fuss-free swatting aside of a crap team, which is nice for us. Not often we’ve managed that in the recent past, let alone in such a potential banana skin occasion.

Any more nuance to it than that? Anything else to report? Did it look like goodbye from DCL? Was the Coleman sub intentional or did he break down so early in the game?

I think people are just surprised that McCartney for example would turn up at a random pub in Liverpool to do a short performance for James Corden's carpool karaoke but we couldn't even get him for a rendition of Hey Jude or some tripe

Meanwhile the s***e would have had bono, Chris Martin, ed Sheeran, Eminem, Beyonce, jay z, Elton John, frank Sinatra, Elvis and Michael Jackson perform a collaborative rendition of YMCA

My opinion that trying to hold a post-match celebration to account based on an arbitrary Latin saying that had bore no resemblance to our identity for going on 4 decades now is silly, is no less relevant for not having watched the match, me old China.
