TV Series

Used to live by the canal in Parbold,it was surprising how many hard core cruisers went right through the Winter. Think quite a few get lifted for dry storage but I'd imagine since COVID there are more live abroads that just moor up for the coldest months.

Looked it up.

The vast majority moor up at designated purpose built over winter moorings, which are normally bolted onto marinas - which have full facilities, electricity, sewage disposal facilities etc

Yes we got a Mooring place round by me, some Narrow Boats haven't moved for years, they just live on them, Some Mooring places charge as much as renting a flat!!,

Just finished the final three.

It is exceptional, probably the best Star Wars thing ever made (including Empire Strikes Back). Its the best thing that has been on TV for at least the past ten years, too.
I have the last 3 to go.

Overall the series has been excellent and is at least on par, if not better than Rogue One, as it continues the world building.

My only concern is that 1) we know how it has to end, to some degree, and 2) episodes 7 through 9 really did have a bit of a feel of rushing to get us to where we needed to be. But still excellent overall

From what I've read (without getting into spoilers), the last 3 episodes don't disappoint. Hopefully the writers find a way to finish the season strongly, despite the obvious pitfalls they're up against.

You won’t be disappointed. The ending is phenomenal. Andor was/is hands down the best Star Wars content there is. We will not see anything half as good again in the franchise.

Brilliant. It will clean up at the Emmy’s and deservedly so.

Actually….to quote Luthen Rael…..

“I think we used up all the perfect.”

Caught up on andor, really excellent stuff. Final 3 to go.

They could and should have made more seasons, as quite a bit feels too condensed, but it’s the best Star Wars thing Disney have made by a country mile.

There's an interview with the guy who played the droid K2, who said the series was originally pitched as a 5 season arc.

Wonder if it was originally going to be each of the 3 episode batches would have been a full 10 episode season. Think there was more than enough material to work in.

The last three episodes do not disappoint, mate. I loved it so much I put on Rogue One right after. It’s seamless from the finale to the film.
