These figures are barking mad in relation to a business of that size.

There's no way they'll keep a lid on the reality of this deal and who's really behind it, because it sure as 💩 isn't being financed by Hill Dickinson.

Everton will never change. We let in a load of chancers during the 90s and we cant get shut of these dodgy connections. If anyone believes TFG are there to bring best practices to this club I'd say that's very optimistic.

That deal today underlines it. The day Johnson came into this club and then sold to Kenwright it completely ruined this organisation which had been stand up, blue chip for over a century before.

I don’t think they do, that is a very generalised statement.

Do you know for certain this law firms profits are given in dividends or are you making an assumption?

Educated assumption but even if I’m wrong, I don’t see a non-top 100 law firm giving 20% of their profit to sponsor Everton football club in one of the most lucrative stadium sponsorships in Europe

Btw there’s 1000s of companies with 50mm in profit. Obviously it’s impressive and I would love to own one! But from a business perspective, it’s not exactly printing cash compared to the plenty of others who could sponsor us

Maybe, but there's an acceleration happening in the last few months.

It wont be slowed down now but at least we can demand that the club is associated with blue chip companies and not a smallish business that looks to be just a facade for other parties, because that's the way it feels to me.

Something feels wrong with this deal. Very wrong.

It's not an acceleration, it's us chasing everyone else.

The ship sailed a long time ago and we're swimming to get back on the boat.

yep, that's sums it up.

fans trying to say we will call it something else will last 2 seconds when the global tv broadcasters, print media and all social media blast it out every day.

What happened today underlines is that this weekend is the last we'll experience as a community-based working class football club.

From now on it's hard-nosed commercialism with scant regard to tradition.
Excellent. Tradition has been used to cover a multitude of amateur decisions over the last 35 years. Sentimentality, nostalgia, and pious poverty-embracing self-pity has run this club into the ground. We have been run like a corner shop for 35 years and more. We are the definition of Stagnant FC.

We play in the Premier League. Not the Northern Premier. Time to blow off the cobwebs, piety, and backward-looking insularity.

Chatted to a senior lawyer at a top law firm and he thought it highly unlikely that a firm the size of Hill Dickinson would spend 3 or 4 million a year sponsoring a football ground. If arsenal are getting £5m a year, we are probably getting less than £2m a year from our deal.

Better than Spurs are getting though.
