New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

And realistically, Bramley Moore is almost equally as daft a name, taking away that's it's a location (person) rather than a company (people).
Yes, but because we have spoke about it for a few years now the name has become familiar to us, so we all only see the new ground as Bramley Moore.

Naff name but it was always going to be, at least it's not a really cheesy brand or one connected with human rights abusers or something. We need more detail regarding the financials, however. "Up to" £10m isn't £10m, what metrics are needed for each increment? How long is the deal for? There's no real way to know if this is a good deal or not at the moment.

Is the stadium debt at the heart of this deal (not in the obvious sense of paying it down via getting external sponsorship)? Is this internal to those holding the debt?

I cant get my head round this any other way.

There'll be people on here with real insight into the possibilities here. Id love to hear them.
Do you know how many people googled their name in the last few hours?

You simply do not understand the bidness world, stay in your lane.

That's just pure guesswork David.

For the record.

What do you think the actual figure is ?

What would be acceptable to you ?
Spurs in London, playing fairly regular champs league and could next season. Haven’t found a sponsor.

Yet everton in constant relegation have…at a quoted 10 million a season.

Could it be for the first time in years we have good owners!! Actual business men.

I doubt TFG with a turn over of 13 billion have gone lets take the first deal offered.

Your not being run by Bill or Farad you know

My thinking has gone like this for me this evening…

1. Hill Dickinson? What the hell is a Hill Dickinson?

2. Sounds very American that. Are they American?

3. Hang on, is Hill Dickinson a man? Is a man sponsoring us?

4. Don’t be an idiot Smiffy, of course a man isn’t sponsoring us.

5. “Son, have you seen the naming sponsor for the new ground, it’s Hill Dickinson?” “DICK IN SON. Sounds well sussy that Dad!”

6. FFS. That’s what people are going to say isn’t it!

7. What the hell happened to Toyota? Or Bank of America?!

8. Oh they’re a law firm from Liverpool? Never heard of them. But I’m a wool so that could explain it. £100m odd a year revenue? They’re not that big then?

9. This is dead weird like.

10. Ah man this is crap.

11. 3 hours later. Actually reads the joint EFC / HD press statement.

12 Actually that sounds ok. I can see what they’re going for here.

13. At least it’s something a bit “different”.

14. Actually the name is starting to grow on me already.

15. Hold up, this is all irrelevant, I will wait until I see what DaveK has to say about it and then just do / think the complete opposite like I usually do.

I wonder if part of the deal is free legal services. Could be worth a fair bit on it's own over a period.

I'm just making that up like, but it seems feasible to me.

You’ll know in a year when turn over/accounts are announced…until then you either decide to believe the new owners or don’t

Talks began “many months ago”
