Blue peter
Player Valuation: £35m
The only thing I did find a little curious was the timing of the announcement. On the weekend of the last game at Goodison.
I can tell you one thing for nothing too: if there's a maritime-based company with a history going back to 1810 in Liverpool there's some dodgy history to it.
Here’s the thing for the moaners, the name is purely for media use, you don’t have to call it that
You can call it BMD, Bramley Moore, The Hill, the HD or simply Everton Stadium (which will be used anyway for Euro 2028), it’s entirely up to you, if the Kult or any other fans want to make juvenile jokes about it, laugh at or with them don’t get wound up or ‘embarrassed’ by it ffs
If it is will you be happy? It won't be anywhere near £10m a year, look at the turnover of the company, they are not a charity.
Do you really believe the "up to £10M" means £10M?10 mil a year for a crap name or would you rather have 6 mil a year for a 'trendy' name (Emirates)?
Its all about the money, no matter what, we are all going to call it BMD.
Everything’s suspicious.Do you really believe the "up to £10M" means £10M?
In any case, and as said: how on earth can a mickey mouse company like Hill Dickinson with a turnover of £100M afford to hand over £10M per year to Everton?
It's an utter sham of a story.
They've gone for a quick sale for a bargain price IMO and they didn't;t have the patience too get the appropriate deal.
Even allowing for all that and it's about £3M per year with more if Everton win trophies (no chance in the short term) this small business even paying out that makes no sense to me.
It's very suspicious.
Nope.
Not at all.
It's all about how out of whack OUR brand is with that mickey mouse solicitors firm.
This is off the charts crazy even for Everton.
£4M a year it'll be with zero profile from our association with them.
That is appalling.
Tell me I'm wrong.
They're a finer grain of salt.Hill Dickinson are salt of the earth!
In hill dicky we trustDo you really believe the "up to £10M" means £10M?

So why is it being reported as so ?It won't be anywhere near £10m a year, look at the turnover of the company, they are not a charity.
Dave, im sure the owners have done their due diligence on this and im certain that the naming right contract for the '10m per year' has been looked into properly.Do you really believe the "up to £10M" means £10M?

What, when they go to watch the millionaires play?I actually think what worries some is it sounds a bit posh.
Our salt-of-the-earth peasants struggle with that.
Yes, the USA and Canada. What other areas of the world have bigger naming rights deals? Surely not south america, asia, or africa. That basically leaves the USA, and 5th is Mercedes-Benz at like 8.5 million.
