Your greatest 'moment' at Goodison

1970 - v Sheffield Wednesday clinching the title - with all my family & friends - the whole ground sang - never before had I heard that - regrettably only my brother & I are & a 94 year old Uncle the ones still alive ..... Goodison rocked even the grandstands joined in the chanting plus incredible football topped off by a blinding goal by CH - to take the title in pure football all season ..... Bally was our KVD .....

The Holy Trinity could find a pass to each other in the dark .....

My first time going to a game, I went in as soon as it was open, if i remember correctly it was about an hour maybe 45 minutes before kickoff, I had travelled over solo... I just got to my seat, sat down and looked around an almost empty stadium and took it all in as it filled up.

Getting to be a ball boy.
It was reserve game ,I must've been 10/11.
Copper asked any of you fancy being a ball boy today?
I jumped at the chance .
Took me down the tunnel were the rest were.
There was a head boy,I got designated the paddock, as it was empty.
I never got a tracksuit to wear ,just my civies.
Anyway, got to be so close to the players in the tunnel was surreal,
Cup of tea at half time and 50p *at the final whistle.
*50p was a lot back then.

Might be a very peculiar instance to highlight. Wouldn't even describe it as a greatest moment, but a good way of illustrating a wider trait of Goodison.

Bilyetdinov's worldy against Portsmouth last game of the season. Was a drab game drifting to a stalemate, crowd were a bit bored/accepting a draw... BOOM!

Goodison erupting is like nothing else. It can go from near silence to 💥 in an instant. Its seen every aspect of sporting emotion over the years, that's for sure.

Took my lad to his first ever game 2007, i thought i will take him to a game that should be a home banker.

Everton V Blackburn Fa cup 3rd round. 2007

Got beat 4-1 at home, if remember well Gamst Pederson scored a freekick at the Park end.
