I wouldn’t pin this all on Moyes. When you have Harrison, Doucoure, Keane and others who are so wildly inconsistent, you have to make the most of your chances. Even that waste of a pass from Alcarez earlier is just inexcusable

I suspect Moyes could have Maradona, Pele, Beckenbauer, and Yashin on the pitch but would still find a way to settle for the draw - and be pleased with it - against City.

But yeah, the players aren't in the same class as City's - or even good enough for a truly ambitious club.
