I see someone has made a proposal to the club, to name our new bar ...
Agree totally. I wonder if they`ll crack down as hard on lids bringing flares and smoke bombs into the ground. It might make it look like a great sight on the TV but have been caught in the middle of the blue smoke a few times and its not a nice experience trying to catch your breath in the middle of it.
Good to see the news about salt and pepper scruffy being banned
I thought the same tbf.The man who stole the food?
I really dont get the animosity towards that feller. He's a club member and he stole rip-off over-priced food and is now getting treated like someone's who's committed a war crime.
The financial penalty should've been enough and the club should have told him that he's on two strikes and the next time he's banned.
Instead they chose to go OTT for the catering company they've outsourced this to and humiliated him in the local media and grassed him up to the coppers. It's a bit of ahouse trick IMO.
Behave Dave. The lad is a scummy rat, this sort of behaviour is something I’d expect from that lot over the road and I’d love to see you take this stance if it was a red feller. The man who stole the food?

He was daft...especially at that age!Behave Dave. The lad is a scummy rat, this sort of behaviour is something I’d expect from that lot over the road and I’d love to see you take this stance if it was a red feller.

He's also a thief who thinks it's funny and thinks nothing of it being broadcast on social media
I think the punishment is appropriate - pay for what you stole but we don't want you back in the stadium thanks
Grand Old Lady.
It's a great idea.Think someone said on here about screening the Goodison finale at Bramley Moore.
Good idea that I think! If you cant be at the old lady then BMD is the next best place.
It's a new situation and fans and club will be feeling it out as they go along. But my instinct is that stewards are on a hiding to nothing trying to enforce overly officious rules and fans will find a way to bypass the club's security....whether that's over sweets or flares or any other *stuff* that usually gets brought into Goodison.
That battle is something to watch out for. As said above: the tests events were a novelty and people were on their best behaviour. That'll end pretty soon into the new season.
I find these things concerning identity fascinating and the new stadium's going to be a laboratory testing ground for seeing how we change or dont change with this move.
