14 against, 19 for. 5 wins = 15 points, 6 draws = 6 points, 2 losses = 0 points. 13 games, 39 points possible, 21 points gained. We're still solid in defence, and are scoring goals. Think Everton under Moyes have been more than a little unlucky. Should have been 5-0 up at HT vs man utd, and were more than good enough for the 0-0 at anfield.

With just a couple of Moyes value amazing signings we'll be a different side again after a summers alteration. 8 wins, 14 draws, 10 losses. 32 games. 6 to go.
A couple of seasons and we’ll be getting eliminated in the Champions League qualification round!

You could argue Osman was the prototype for the “Messi False 9” 🤣

He was onto it before anyone else, and like all visionaries was reviled at first for it. People who say Moyes teams don’t play attacking football have no understanding of what he tried to do in his first term here. If anything sometimes he went too far the other way trying to get on the front foot and play football away at top sides who then hit us on the counter as we threw fullbacks forward and tried to play patterns round their penalty area, but idiotic pundits just saw ‘set piece to Fellaini’ and stopped their analysis there.

I dont like the feller at all, but it has to be said he's more than steadied this ship.

If he actually grew a pair before next season, demanded some spending money and got a striker and LB and RW, and had a go at the 'top' teams, we could do what Forest did this season...and sustain it. This PL is 'kin rank...make no mistake about that. Moyes could conceivably get us 4th again.

He wont have to demand money, it will given to him willingly.

I think there are a lot of strong teams compared to previously, but no real ‘elite’ teams bar them lot, Arsenal and City.

I would say personally the mid table sides are a lot more competitive than they used to be. Could you imagine a tiny club like Bournemouth signing Porto’s number 9 for 40m 15 years ago for example?

I think like you say that top 10 is there for the taking but there are a lot of sides who’d feel that way now. Look how much the newly promoted sides are struggling year on year.

He keeps saying the league is poor so he can have a pop at Moyes when we dont finish 4th, thats all.

The League is still the best in the world and its laughable to suggest otherwise.

His final seasons xG was better than any season under any manager that followed, including that first season under Martinez.

But people just trot out the line of him being a defensive manager.

I heard he doesn’t like you either 🤷‍♂️

Yeah TFG don’t need a prem team…like textor did to sure up a business. I think they will want a successful Everton as it reflects well on them.

So far have spent big to steady the ship imagine will in summer

I wonder what the quality of the league was like 4 months ago, pre moyes?
Crazy how people have to be this tribal with their own fans as fully grown adults 😂.

I think Moyes has done a fantastic job with a really limited squad. It’s a really tough league as well. That lot today id swap squads with in a heartbeat - we outplayed them today.

Testament to the job the guy has done, give him his dues.
