Walked back to Kirkdale station with a couple of Arsenal lads. Decent chat! They said they don't come here when they play the vermin. Not worth the hassle they get off the horrible bar stewards at Mordor. I showed them a photo of the away section at BMD and they were quite impressed.

Quite a lot were in town, my mum nearly had attack when she saw loads of Arsenal fans wearing Xhaka shirts walked up towards us asking for directions, I told her they weren't looking for Serbs, 1 of them was Chinese . She was like, "What you post on that Forum gonna kill us some day". I told her as long as I didnt here Norweigan accent we were OK.

Pickford was excellent as usual, a real standout in goal. Branthwaite impressed as well, although it’s worth noting Arsenal were understrength in their attacking options.

Patterson had a solid performance, but we've seen these cameos before, only for him to fade away after. Harrison showed great work rate, though he lacked the usual quality in the final third. On the other hand, Beto was a real handful, constantly occupying 2-3 defenders. To me, he looks a much better option than Broja at this point. It was fantastic to see Ndiaye and McNeil back in action.

Gana, unfortunately, didn’t have the best game. His lack of discipline in staying central left Tim isolated in midfield at times.

The game felt flat at times, and once again, we saw a team ‘managing’ the game after taking the lead. Arsenal engaged in all the tactics I can’t stand—passing for the sake of it, players going down and staying down without injuries just to kill the momentum and quieten the crowd. It might’ve dulled the atmosphere a bit, but in the end, I’m pleased they got what they deserved.

I think we've scored ten goals in our last eight games, only failing to score against the soon to be Premier League winners at their place.

Yes we did great in Jan and Feb but we’ve averaged less than a goal a game since the beginning of March.

I would have liked Arsenal to win the league purely to stop Liverpool winning it but they wouldn’t have been worthy champions with the way you described them playing and they do that every game and are coached to play like that and it stinks!
