New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Do you reckon stadium naming rights will be secured before next season starts or are we going to go years without a sponsor like spurs?
Really hope we’re not being greedy like them and get a sponsor sorted soon. More so because I don’t particularly like the name ‘Everton Stadium’, whilst it’s factually correct it’s just a bit generic and uninspiring.

I can see us doing it next season too, especially with American owners. It’s what their sports are based on.
Not sure myself. I think there is a fine line with this. Unless we successful then the individual ticket sales over a course of the season might not be as a profitable as season tickets.

If we go back to the relatively good days of Moyes first reign when we didn’t sell out our season ticket capacity, you would get relatively low attendances for cup games etc. They pretty much all sell out now.

For London clubs, for example Fulham, it’s slightly different due to the level of tourism. Even non-league clubs attract day tripper fans down there!

Invisible Wind Factory will be open for the next test event, their offering 20% off drinks for all ticket holders

Can see this becoming one of the most popular venues match days

Might do well to paint those doors and windiw frames

There was a cap in place back then as I remember it. I bought my first season ticket early summer the season 03/04, and a few weeks after that a couple of mates went to do the same and were told they were sold out. There was the option for a half season ticket back then, and that early enthusiasm from Moyes arrival soon dried up. Next season there`ll be plenty of folks looking to buy tickets on a match by match basis even if we are not successful, even a season or two more. The big draw with day trippers getting tickets is that they`ll likely go and spend more money in the club shop, buy a program and get into the ground early and likely buy some food at the ground rather than at place in the area of the ground.

@The binman chronicles I've just watched SS Skies latest video and in the away end it looks like it's all been converted to rail seating (initially it was rail seating bottom section and seating top section).

If that top section stayed as rail seating, that should ensure there isn't any obstructed views in those 2 corners at the East and North sections. Though surely there'd have to have some part of that away end as seating only as not everyone would want to stand.

Speaking of rail seating/safe standing, will our lower South be the largest safe standing area in the PL or is Spurs larger?

Noticed on X that a few Dutch Everton supporters managed to get a season ticket for BMD. Take my hats of to them. Must take some effort, time and money travelling over for I assume all (well at least most) home games
Easy jet have flights direct from Amsterdam to Liverpool which gives you a chance of getting over relatively cheaply. I knew a lad that had lived for a while in London and found it really hard to get to some games, where as when he moved back to Ireland it became much easier. The hardest part is the journey home after the game as I always found John Lennon airport on a Saturday or Sunday night to be an awful place to have to wait for a flight home, no matter if we had won, lost or drawn that day.

In the Smith/early Moyes era, Derby/United home games were easily available, let alone cup games

Yes I know . But in previous seasons , a STH has had access to the resale platform .
It changed this season , stopping current STH buying from the resale . Obviously because of demand with it being last season at Goodison, Everyman and his dog wants to go .So paying members should get the right over a STH
Pretty certain it changed from last season

I think in the very corners it might still block off the very corner of the pitch looking over the platform. It will help reduce the number of seats with that issue though.

Spurs have got a bit more I think in the one stand as they have the lower and very top. As only half of their away area has safe standing I think we would have more safe standing seats overall 8k compared to 7.5k from what I can see.
