When you take into account the UK charts only then yes Alphaville had one top 10 record but they had a number of hits throughout the continent
The whole concept of one hit wonders has various interpretations, for me the true expression of a one hit wonder is a artist/group who have one charting song [say in the top 10] and never appear on the music charts again [apart from maybe the lower reaches of] and essentially disappear into obscurity
