We should not be considering Richarlison as a potential signing. Sorry to all who don’t want to hear that.
I'd take absolutely every rumour we seen on the interweb from now till June with a giant pinch of salt.

If Moyes is heading transfers we'll probably know zip till it's about to happen.

As far Richy coming back...feel like he's starting to become a player that's picking up niggley injuries, heart says yes, head says no.

Exactly. He’s 28, can’t get fit, can’t stay fit, is on massive wages, and to be perfectly honest, doesn’t get in our team in his best position because Ndiaye is better than him.

Our fans like to ride on pure vibes a lot of the time but I hope there are some adults at Everton willing to take a step back and look at things logically.

Ok...not so much fuming.

But it seems mad to take to twitter to remonstrate over 3 rumours that have probably got absolutely no truth to them.

He's also mentioned that we're a week post Thelwell...he's still at the club ha

It's the type of tweet most Blues who love fuming at club, will pick up on.
He's presumably not working on the summer window, however. Why would he be?

I just found it funny that he referenced Thelwell's impending departure and tenuously linked that to the fact we've been linked with Coufal of West Ham.
Yeah, it was a weird way to phrase it but I think he meant it was a week since it was announced that he was leaving rather than he'd actually left. Either way, I'm assuming Thelwell will have no input on plans for summer recruitment now. God only knows who does, Moyes, obviously, but who else?

Lashing any money at a 30 year old manager favourite would just be an immediate return to the Moshiri era. We surely have to have learned from history.

Sure but the balance has to be investing money in the younger players and trying to get in veterans cheap or for free. A similar policy to we've had under Thelwell- we can argue over individual signings but the policy has been correct.

Soucek would not be cheap and the money spent would not be an investment.

It appears as though the successful Thelwell strategy and delivery is something not favoured going forward.

Soucek would be a disgraceful signing.

On a positive note, we have been linked with Theo Hernandez for €30-40mil which, while being 27...might be an amazing signing for 5 seasons or so. We can dream.

I think it will be The Moyes boys,IE Kenny and Dave causing havoc in the market this summer.

A loan might make sense, we need bodies. We shouldn't be laying out a fee for him. And really, he probably wouldn't be a consideration if he didn't play here before.

Id agree with this, I wouldnt take him on a perm, but a loan for the right amount I think would be smart. The one concern with him is injuries, so you would need to recruit well so you arent relying on his availability. In the case you have 3 good wingers on permanents I think he could be a huge asset. He scored 11 goals last season, and despite not being available at all this season ahs 2 goals, which is 2 more goals than our current wingers combined...

Id have him as a backup winger with the ability to fill in at CF.

There is more chance of Margot Robbie delivering my milk with her Bristols out, than there is of Hernandez rocking up at Bramley Moore
