I'm curious about what replacing Thelwell says about TFG's ambitions for the summer market. We know Thelwell is conservative and was talking about evolution not revolution- are TFG showing they are more ambitious than that? Must admit I'd be nervous about them trying to turbocharge things too much too quickly, but maybe that's just a hangover from the crazy spending of the early Moshiri years.
We’re sharing Roma’s DoF

Think we only need one RB really. Can’t see Patterson going anywhere tbh, and O’Brien can step in there.

Also think one of the RWs you want should be a more utility forward that can cover across the front line rather than an out and out RW.

Don’t think it’s too scary, 5 permanents and 3 loans.

As much as I like him Patterson patently isn't good enough for the Premier League. For his own career he needs to go in the summer back to Scotland or a Championship/League One club. He's played over 50 games. Enough is enough.

We need a new starting left back and a new back up right back with maybe Young on another year as back up. Then need a pacey winger and a striker.

Everton should insert ‘£100m’ release clause in new Branthwaite deal
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted Everton should include a £100million release clause in any new deal.

He's already contracted for at least another 3 years so no need to panic.

….ha, ha, that means very little if an in-demand player wants to leave.

The advantage of him signing a new, improved deal is that a transfer is not entirely imminent and we can ask for more monies but if the Real Madrid rumours are true, it’ll be difficult to keep him.
