New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The stadium was brilliant more compact than I thought it would be, the steps are steep, going up not to bad, coming down in the crowd should be fun. The stadium is bloody cold will be investing in a heated coat I think. Didn’t have food but it did look good if a little pricey but can see myself buying some, the dinks tea £2.50, 500ml coke the same which is not bad at all.

Toilet situation not great either, upper tier not full but massive queues at half time and couldn't move on the concourse. About 10 urinals per block and the queuing gentlemen are in for a right eye full of the end pot

I don't think we can conclusively say at this stage, we need to bear in mind hardly anyone knows what they are doing. By that I mean people all going to the same (closest) toilets and not spreading out. It was a very cold night so more people would be inside than normal and to add to that probably more went downstairs to sample the views/get drinks.

Hopefully as people get their bearings it won't be as bad.

this really annoys me.
Hope the club find out who he is, resell his season ticket and dont refund him.
Imagine the mentality to not only do that on the first night for all the staff, but videoing yourself, moron

Don't mean to sound like a crack but I absolutely hate this sort of behaviour. Just paints us in a bad light for the sake of "having a laugh"

Why is the South Stand chopped in half? I thought it was meant to be a blue wall?

People sat down in safe standing looks stupid.

Why is the away end on the camera?

The disabled sections means the majority of fans aren't right on top of the action. South Stand and the one at the side of the pitch in view of the cameras.
All very valid points. Away fans on camera is a mistake, the pitchside disabled spaces are huge and the associated vomitories are huge. These are particularly bad on the East and South Stands.
Other than those easily rectified issues the stadium looks bang on.

I went to the toilet halfway through the break, down at block 206, and the urinals were fine - no wait. The concourse was busy, but so is the Street End?

I think the south stand is ‘chopped in half’ precisely because when it comes to the premier league people will be standing, so those in the upper section sitting would be obstructed

People sitting in safe standing does looks stupid, but it was a test event. They’ll stand when it comes to the real thing

Away fans I don’t think will be visible when it comes to TV. The cameras tonight were not placed where they will be for TV, Everton put them lower down in a temporary spot
