The weirdest thought just occurred to me. 133 years ago, will there have been fans missing Anfield? Probably hadn't been there long enough to build any kind of special connection.

Honestly? Probably not.

Those who wished to remain, remained theoretically. Those who didn't, built a new establishment within a short space of time.

A historian will probably fact check this, but the circumstances of which we've left Goodison (outdated) is an lot different to Anfield (rent), so I imagine there will have been some animosity, more than anything!

I was to be there tomorrow, unfortunately developed a serious heart condition over the last few, related to a virus, was lucky to survive, and will be lucky to get to another match at Goodison. Parents going so hopefully will have loads of pictures to forward on (can't promise quality pics from a pair of 60-odd year olds though!)
