Watched an interview with him after the game, he was asked what the manager has done to help him and what training was like now.
He said Moyes was very technical and big on tactics, he won't let them slack off.
Surprised me really, I never saw Moyes as a Guardiola type, I've always seen him as a meat and 2 veg coach if I'm honest.
Beto also said the camp is very happy and pulling in the same direction.
You couldn't tell could you?

as I said when he joined, if we get a manager as good as me on football manager, the lad will slot 🤣

Yeah! He was a huge Eto’o fan and started following us when he came here but really fell in love with us and kept supporting us after he left

I’m not saying he was a fanatic but we were definitely his team :)

Proof too - here's him training in an Everton kit ages ago, it's a 14/15 kit and he starts reeling off all the players from that season ha. Great stuff

Great performance from him, in what I think was his 160th game for us or something…..

Commentators made me laugh when they were talking about his confidence and questioning if he’d have scored that last month, when the simple answer is of course not, Dychosaurus either wouldn’t have played him, or if he had, he’d have demanded all 10 players in our ½ to defend the throw in near the ½ way line.

If you are worried about being hooked every game, chances are it will affect your play. Dom getting injured was the best thing that could have happened for him because there was nobody to take his spot. Not saying Moyes didn't play a part, but I don't think we see the same improvement and confidence if Dom was healthy. Things happen for a reason I suppose.
