Think it was @Rita_Poon best mate Martin Lewis saying the other day that a power of attorney is more important than a will.

With threads on pensions and asteroids hitting the earth, I’m getting worried. Get your will out and sort it.

I don't have a will. I've been talking about it for 10 years. I've even met 2 lawyers. The first one disappeared when I asked about trust funds to prevent my wife's family from selling the houses whilst my Son is a child. The second managed to get my DOB and nationality wrong so I walked away. If you can't do the basics...

I'll do a simple one soon. Everything to my wife. She can figure out her own after that. I just want to make her life easier when the day comes.

If you're a member of a trade union you can usually get a free basic will written.

If you're of an age where you might be getting on to thinking about what's left behind when you're gone, a pre-paid funeral is a very good investment.

Apart from all the usual stuff that everybody has...bequests to the Housekeeper, Cook, Butler and Chauffeur, burning mrs degsy on my pyre etc.

I've made specific instructions for my executor to come on here with the sad news...well I'll be sad, proper vexed tbh...anyway,
He's to come on here and state that @xxxxxxx & @xxxxxxxxx are totally up their own hoops
