I don't even want to think of what that would have been like with Dyche. 8% vs 92% possession, no shots on goal, 0-3 loss.

He won the last Goodison derby to be fair.

Games like that were usually his forte.

For the majority of that game I don't even think nit was backs against the wall stuff. Pickford made a couple of decent saves but our backline were far too good overall..

Just once again some of our finishing/decision making in the top 3rd was awful

I meant backs against the wall in terms of missing the likes of Ndiaye and DCL. We were absolutely all over them! Kind of...

I agree, they had more chances last season. They passed the ball across the back a lot because we blocked passing channels off very well tonight. The goals we conceded we could have done better I suppose but they didn't have us under the cosh at all. Thought we played quite well....................Tarks goal though, feel bad for the early leavers
