Same. I just don't want him at the club. At all

Also was looking forward to having something to really get behind once we booted Dyche out. Now I'm just as bored and disinterested as before
Have different views tbh cant argue with you not wanting him at the club, but not a chance you will be as bored as under dyche. The team is still poor but hopefulky some new players can kick us on, for me atleast having shots now trying to attack is still not great but atleast moyes is trying. And is just rebuilding us to get mid table then kick on again with a new manager maybe depending on job moyes does
I get that people don't want Moyes to stay on after this season, but I don't see any possibility where we stay up and he is sacked. There's no evidence whatsoever that will happen
Just crazy if did for me already have a massive rebuild with the squad maybe a new dof bringing in a new manager aswell is just to much. Then well another payout like the everton of old.

When Everton are in the passive mood at goodison it doesn't matter what manager we have. Looking at Bournmouth like they are prime Barca isn't the best way to go about first half. We should have made it very nasty for them. We didn't.

Hopefully moyes will have them at it from min 1 on Wednesday. A tackle and a demand for 90 mins

At what point will the fan base stop obsessing over the limitations of the manager and focus on actually giving any manager a much better group of players.

I’d love to be having an argument about how an Everton manager is mishandling a blatant top 4 squad, rather than arguing about whether he’s a rubbish manager because he can’t get rubbish players to not be rubbish on a consistent basis.

The issues haven’t gone away just because Moyes is a very good manager who can play to strengths. There’s no pace in the team, we’ve got a pop gun attack, there’s no depth anywhere, and it’s e generally unintelligent group of players who make extremely stupid decisions when in possession. Moyes coming in doesn’t miraculously change all of that.

We need to get to the summer in the league (which we look likely to achieve), then start improving the squad. Just forget about the manager for a season or two for christ sake and focus on the quality of players coming in. We should be demanding a complete reset from the new owners. There’s no excuse now, PS&R head room is there, there’s assets in the playing squad with value, there’s revenue from then stadium and commercial deals, there’s a reduced wage bill with several players coming off contract. It’s time to put the pedal down and back the manager with some statement signings in numerous potions injecting pace and quality into the team.

We should be talking about that for the next two seasons not angling for another managerial change in the summer, it’s the last thing the club needs.

Nobody was expecting them to. Thats such a bizare comment as not one Everton fan have i heard or read was under the illusion that was gona happen.
We needed to put some wins on the board asap as the idiot you kept defending couldnt.
Thats it. Dont complicate it. we needed a quick fix on this one. It got out of hand with Dyche.

Bournemouth have finished above us about twice in their history.

They are flavour of the month now with what looks like a very good manager but he will be gone in the summer to a big club.

Bournemouth will be fighting relegation in the next year or two when their manager and good players are poached.

Sorry mate not a chance footballers choose them over us.
You could be correct but at the present time Bournemouth are a better run club running a successful premier league club and one player has just chosen to join Ipswich although we wanted him and being honest he might have chose Ipswich because his ex teammate plays for them. I will keep my eye out for your predictions!

The idiot who kept this club afloat in its most tumultuous period as the absent board sold his best players every season. That ‘idiot’?. Classless.

You’ve proved the point of my post, utterly obsessed with the identity of the manager rather than the bigger picture. Koeman, Silva, Ancelotti, Benitez, Lampard, Dyche, Moyes the name is irrelevant, if the club continues operating at board room level the same way it has down for the last 30 years (with one or two exceptions) then the results will be the same in the bigger picture regardless of manager. Some are literally so obsessed with binary arguments over previous managers that they’ll ignore all this to have a shot at Dyche. I doubt he cares about the club anymore so maybe just let him go for your own good.

You got it in one.

That's what you want to believe but the reality is that the only way Moyes leaves before his contract expires is if there's dramatic decline in our form to the point that its comparable to what Dyche had before he was sacked. In the real world, after getting over the line this season, we will likely see a small improvement and be aiming for something like 12th then 10th the season after. Hardly jetsetting stuff but its what we need right now after having close to half a decade of solid relegation battles. Once those two seasons are done with and we have a better base to work with and a halfway competent team. Then we'll look for a better class of manager and talk aspirations
Why wait? Any competent manager can do what you ask with decent backing: 12th and 10th. Evertonians need to stop being terrified of the future and using the mediocre past as a comfort blanket. Yesterday’s man has had his time.

Yeah Dyche’s comments in an interview are the reason the club hasn’t been successful since 1995. Let’s focus on them some more and keep bringing them up. What an idiot. Just like Lampard Benitez Ancelotti Silva Allardyce Koeman Martinez Moyes Smith..
