Perhaps the only transfers we will see today.......

So Moyes is reticent to bring people in apparently. Very frustrating. Also stupid when you consider how many players will need to be brought in in the Summer, plus the fact that most other PL clubs will be a more attractive proposition to us, it is very silly to not get some in now.

If we leave it to the Summer and don't get most of our first choice signings, then we'll be in a position where we have to sign dross anyway to fill the squad.

Football managers to make some very strange decisions sometimes.
Probably sounds a bit silly as it’s essentially just a building but I do think being part of our squad as we go into a state of the art new stadium could be a big draw for any of our targets. Playing there every other week will be an attractive proposition for a lot of players I reckon.

Said it would just be the one in. Was so obvious.
For the first time in quite a long while, I can see the logic in not trying to get a panic acquisition in on deadline day.

It's still a gamble, but injuries, limited PSR headroom and a summer on the horizon where some real rebuilding can be done make think it isn't the end of the world that Moyes has opted against doing any further deals.

I think when you look at the way circumstances have lined up, you're right, it was obvious.

Unless an injury crisis hits us hard effective immediately, I think we are comfortably safe. Beto isn't Maupay level gash like others were suggesting and Alcaraz should give us more depth in the forward positions plus McNeil should be coming back soonish. Tim and James are already back. IMO we are miles better than the relegation sides because we have Ndiaye. He clearly elevates us above them.
