Thankfully he never got the chance and regardless if he said it or not (he did) he had taken these players as far as he could - which was grinding out 0-0s against Arsenal and having 0 shots on target and 15% possession against promoted sides.
Still waiting for you or anyone else to provide the proof of that.

He knew exactly what was available...the same amount Dyche had had offered to him: f.a.

So all the client journalist stories lapped up by the Dyche haters about him walking after he was offered players to help him through to the end of the season can be viewed now for exactly what they were: utter BS.

Ever feel like you've been conned? to paraphrase Johnny Rotten.
Well Moyes is proving he didn’t really need players to get through to the end of the season anyway. Dyche was a limited manager that was limiting the players we had.

Let's wait till the window closes Dave.

Then we can chat.

I’m off to bed as I was doing the night shift last night.

After Al’s dour prediction, I’m sure I’ll wake up to plenty of fume which I’ll join in with.
A bit deflated but happy with our change of management.

I posted this last Tuesday when it went to print in the Echo and I posted it again on Thursday -

"Despite that challenge, heading into the weekend there was cause for positivity around the work the Blues had done in the transfer window. While no incomings had been secured, there was a sense the groundwork had been done and that the club was in a good position to act on that in the closing stages of the window"

I've said it once and I'll say it again, if Everton don't bring the required players in today, then that will be one of the most embarrassing paragraphs I've ever seen written.

Giving themselves all a pat on the back for not actually doing anything.

13hrs left to bring in the required players Moyes requested even before DCL & Mangala were injured. Not 1 player, not 2 players but 3 players.

If I were Dyche I'd be putting it out through every journalist possible because either:

He had enough of the club and wanted out - it had drained him.

Or

It was as good as he could do.

The former gives him an excuse, the later means he was responsible for the style of play and the results.

I know which one I'd prefer if I were him.
