When you take older Premier League players for high cost you frequently don't get much value. Like Richarlison to Spurs or Sigurdsson to us.

I think you should only do this if you have a great team that has that missing piece of the jigsaw type scenario.

Yes I meant Ward Prowse as a summer signing to effectively replace Mangala.

Just what we need, another slow one dimensioned over 30 years cart horse that will be on high wages that couldn't get into the Hammers or Forest side but good enough for Everton?

Ask yourself what does he offer? that the other poor one-dimensional player we already have in McNeill

Ward Prowse would be an awful signing. With the new owners we can stop the trend of buying 30+ year olds that don't improve us much and start building for the future with players that are just as good but have the potential to be far better.

Boss being owners, mate ! I’m happy with Moyes … he’ll make sure we stay up but I’m not expecting loads of signings today ! How many windows have closed when we have obvious needs not met ?
