I want to draw attention to this. A genuine from me. Didn’t want your little gem buried. I can see it now. Everton was within minutes of signing a Messi-like striker but unfortunately an up-to-now hidden and undiagnosed underlying issue of hiccups has canceled the deal .

Appreciate it mate! I like to interrupt the transfer deadline feverishness with a touch of comedy where possible

Isn’t his wage rather high when you weigh it against his actual ability ?

If you look at any player signed by Thelwell for actual money then Doucoure is pretty much on double any of them besides for Tarks who was a free transfer we obviously paid over the odds for on wages.

Take Pickford, Doucs, Tarkowski, Gueye out the current starting 11 then everyone else is on sub 60k per week, sub 50k if you remove Mykolenko.

It's a huge disparity and clear as day that it's legacy players or guys we paid nowt for on the big wages.

Pickford deserves it and no one can argue about it, Gueye if he stays has to take a pretty major cut I feel, Tarks has got a year left after this and unless he reduces can see it being his last also. Doucs would literally have to take a 50% reduction I feel and can't see him doing that

Yeah they can cause some weird crap like blood clots etc but he's a bloody footy player with a bruise on his calf, not exactly something to panic about ))

His sidekick Sam would miss the most blatant of wounds or death blows and Quincy would swan into the morgue and go...

I don’t think so . As I remember it , there was holocaust denier on TV and at the same time , a kid defaced a Jewish owned business .
I think Quincy was Jewish ( like the actor playing him ) so he went away trying to find some proof of the holocaust. He actually found a German prison guard who was being a hermit in the U.S and convinced to put him on the stand to proof the horrible events happened . The German guard went on the stand and actually says that they did it , he’s proud they did it and nobody should take it away from the great Reich .
It was actually pretty powerful .

Pickford, Tarkowski, Gueye an experienced trio through the middle will remain, Coleman will go into the coaching setup to add a bit too.

Moyes will build a young hungry team with just the right amount of older heads in there. It's his M.O.
