The ‘dychettes’ are quiet because the job is done. As soon as the ownership change happened the period of potential club destruction was over.

And for those shrieking that Dyche was taking us down. He could have lost all four of the games since Moyes has taken over and we’d still be a point outside the relegation zone with a game in hand.

There’s probably not a single person who backed Dyche would wouldn’t prefer Moyes being in charge. What some of the crybot bedwetters don’t understand though is it was never really about Sean Dyche as a manager. It was about whether or not you wanted to put the entire club at danger pre takeover for the want of being ‘entertained’ or you could put that aside for a period of time recognising the limitations the club had .

Most people said all along as soon as the ownership change was made the managerial change was an inevitability and at that point it would work because the players would know this was the new owners choice and they’d have to fall in line.

Something else to think about, Moyes admitted that the only reason he picked up a relegation fight was because it was Everton and his connection with us. Look at the calibre of the managers teams around us went for Van Nistlerooy, Vitor Pereira, Juric, Graham Potter (with a far better squad at West Ham). It’s hardly like they’ve all picked up Mancini Mourinho Sarri Zidane is it? The Friedkins picked very wisely but we don’t have got a manager of Moyes quality if it hadn’t have been for that connection, he’s probably turned down some of our rivals this season already.

Changing manager pre takeover would have been ridiculous and anyone with half a brain understood that.

Thank the gaffer for what he did in his time here and the foundations he’s laid for the house Moyes is now rebuilding.

What a load of complete and utter tosh. No one is devastated Moyes is doing well, unlike when you used to be seething when Everton won under Dyche. Very strange behaviour.

It’s more once they’ve stopped screaming and you are sat hoping they are completely asleep before trying to put them back down and you need to keep yourself awake while holding them.

Honestly since “don’t feed the trolls” is dead and nobody can control themselves I would say at the very least we should all say that if someone “pretends” to be an idiot all the time then they are functionally an idiot. What difference does it make to the reader if they “believe” the idiotic things they force feed into the forum every single day? Just looking at the League table: only the top 3 have conceded fewer goals than us. City have conceded seven more ! I know we've got Liverpool next, but that's pretty amazing, and it's one thing that Dyche can take some credit for.
