Carlos Alcaraz has passed his medical without any hiccups ahead of officially signing for Everton, according to Bruno Lemos.

The Brazilian journalist, who has been on top of updates regarding Alcaraz, reported via his personal X account on 2 February that the 22-year-old will sign a contract with the Toffees on Monday, 3 February
At what point in the negotiations does the medical come? Surely, once he passes the medical the only thing left is to sign papers? Seems odd to leave it to the day after the medical.

Good to hear, hiccups are often the cause of a failed medical... Usually caused by eating bread too fast

@Noisy noise annoys poked into the Ebimbe thing, weird as f.

Player had a knock on his calf - went for medical it went well but they discovered a calf bleed/haematoma - and wanted a second additional.medical which the player seems to have refused.

Given a haematoma is basically a bruise with a max of ten days out, but Monaco wanted him available immediately and worried it may be longer term

The only thing that makes sense is a haematoma can be a sign of something else - cancer or thrombosis, so I'm guessing monaco wanted him to go for a biopsy lol
