New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

That back row next to the media and to the right of the black fence is Village street. For that backrow seat you are talking £2000k (Inc VAT)...

And I genuinely don't think you'll see past those raised media desks without being a giraffe.
You’ve just answered a question I was about to ask. Thanks. My giraffe will be made up there are accessibility seats for him when we go. 👍

Money I'd guess, those seats are about £3200 exc. VAT a pop in the centre of Village street, in front of the media.

You can also see by that diagram that the media section at the back wasn't supposed to be as long as it now is. Because on that diagram there are steps either side. But now there isn't on the right hand side as it overlaps.

As soon as someone gets into this ground, I need them to leg it to about 6 sections of the ground to take some pics 😆

I’ve never really understood why you can’t drink a beer in your seat but you can sit and drink a boiling hot cup of coffee/tea, I know which I’d rather have spilt on me, the beer might smell bad but it won’t give you 3rd degree burns.
It's all to do with Ye Olde Licencing Laws...probably the Lloyd George WW1 version *...were you have 'Licenced Premises' were you can drink...and everywhere else you can't - hence the term 'Off Licenced Premise' where you can buy drink but not (officially) drink it
*and probably something to do with a tendency, when 'unregulated' ...like abroad...to pour it down the collective neck and act like total blerts

It’s specific to football stadiums due to the 1985 anti hooligan legislation isn't it?
Thought you can drink in the stands at rugby for example? Or Dom Perignon at Wimbledon if you’re so inclined!

Wouldn't know mate, never been inside of one.
But iirc, it was always thus, you could only drink in the concourse pre 1985
That anti hooligan/drinking rule was a joke anyway, it would take you all your time to get served once, nevermind get pissed.

The downside of drinking at your seat is people!
to-ing and fro-ing, stand up sit down stand up sitdown etc.
OK at a test match

Pleased for your Giraffe Slaven, dam shame you can’t enjoy a drink together in the stadium though. Must be a bugger for him, all that ducking down in the concourse areas.
But at least he can look forward to enjoying a Dom Perignon whilst watching the tennis.

Yes it is, I can remember taking a drink out in the Gwladys in the early’80s when I got in the ground very early. The current legislation only applies to the top 5 divisions, you can have a drink at a lot of grounds below that but they’re not all licensed for you to take it out of the clubhouse. I’ve been to Matlock where you can take it out and Guiseley where you can’t,this season. In Scotland you can’t get a drink from the catering consoles in the stadium, I’ve been to a few grounds that have social clubs attached.

Out of interest, why, historically, do our stadiums always seem to be open to the elements? If you look at US stadiums, some have roofs over them, is that just a thing that hasn't caught on here?

Some places in USA will need to have roofs due to weather such as ridiculous hot or cold. Think it’s mainly a price issue why it’s not happened here. I’m a Chicago bears fan and you should see the stadium proposal there, dwarfs anything in this county. The other thing is, in the states the city will pay a large portion of the cost to build the stadium, as they want the team to remain in the city.

Does anyone know what will happen to the Goodison granites at the Park end? I think they were to to be installed at BMD when we moved, but I`m not sure if there is a specific area they were to be put.
