Yeah true but he was still sold too cheaply. Young English player with proper pace and a much better brain than Barkley. Should have been looking for £60 million minimum, but I guess if someone wants out and the borders aren't there and you're desperate for the money

Nah Moyes has plugged the leaks from previous regimes, Toffee TV were suggesting on their afternoon thing yesterday that wherever they normally get bits from, well that's now stopped since Moyes has come in, even the Bobble/his mate, they are not saying much at the moment either. TFG are also notorious for the way they just do stuff then announce it. I just think we leaked like a sieve previously and its been stopped now.

To be honest, Everton don’t leak more or less than any other club generally speaking. The major reason it’s been a quiet January transfer wise is because we have not been ‘close’ to signing anyone. Without wishing to sound patronising in anyway mate, the football world is quite small and people often at clubs or agencies know what other people/clubs are doing. It doesn’t mean that club is then leaky. Let’s hope for a positive few days!
