I never expect anything from VAR, the human element mess it up all the time.
I was expecting them to come back and say that Beto had fouled their defender and pushed his arm onto the ball, free kick to Brighton.

Crazy stuff. Dutch commentator over here on Viaplay also trying to defend Veltman. Probaly because he's Dutch. Maybe he should've gotten a free kick instead because he was pushed. Yeah, or maybe Veltman should opt for a non contact sport instead. Clear penalty, all day long!

Thank God the referee awarded a corner first because the ruled out any foul by Beto.

Game wasn't really going anywhere till the penalty but that's how we need to play when Beto is up top, the lad is very limited but he just needs service in to channels instead of at him.
