I have the poster in question on ignore but it’s incredibly frustrating trying to catch up on this thread and having to wade through pages upon pages of him looking for an argument.

Brother really rates him, he was at the ground when the lad made his full debut - reckons there's no way Sunderland will let him go mid season though.

Would seem odd as they are pushing for automatic promotion

Feels bad because Sunderland being promoted is such a good story of rebuilding and returning after crushing disappointment…but if them not being promoted gives us an easier angle to sign that lad then it’s something I’ll keep an eye on.

Something else to be aware of is the interest in their other midfielders. Bellingham and Rigg. Both with have interest and there’s no way they let all 3 go. We’d have to snap our guy up first, though they may hold out for the higher fees on the other 2. Just musing really, it’s an interesting situation, and most likely for summer.
