20m of pure book profit could cover 80m worth of signings PSR wise, or at the very least would cover a 40-50m replacement. Even if DCL did move onto a whopping 5 goals for the season I think that would be a fairly easy decision.
we sold Gordon for a lot more that that and never really spent, so I wouldn’t be so sure

Nunez can't be regarded as a flop yet. Banged in 2 goals last weekend to win them the game and has contributed. He seems like a lad to me that could go on a crazy goal scoring run or go on a crazy sending off run of games...

Keita played in the team that won champions league. I've seen worse flops including our record signing that was bombed out for reasons undisclosed
Nunez is definitely a flop, they paid the same money as VVV and Allison and expected the same result, a forward to win them the league. He is 4th/5th choice striker, that’s a flop. If we paid £80m plus and had Beto, Chermiti and DCL ahead of them that’s a flop.

What do you want him to say we will 100% bring players in is what any manager would say is a tough window. I get the frustration becuase i feel the same, also about the fb position is tough because of the money this window. Is not long left so will find out who is right

If Moyes says we will definitely bring players in then it slightly weakens us in negotiations as all clubs know we have to do a deal.

You’re all over the place with this Dave.

One minute you're saying we’re down after we binned Dyche, then you’re saying we were always safe anyway after we put a bit of a gap between us and the bottom, now we’re in a fight again.

Which is it going to be tomorrow?
All of that was predicated on getting players in / not getting players in this window.

Well I’m guessing he’s concerned we spend our January budget on an attacker to come in and hit the ground running and then they can’t adapt and it’s a complete waste?
Sure, but let's be honest here, we're not going to be signing a PL based striker who is currently first choice for his current club, why would that club sell him to us for the money we're prepared to pay? So, a player starting regularly in another league may be more up to speed than an out of favour player in the PL. There's risk in both options but we always seem to favour one strategy over the other. The much more expensive strategy.

Why do you have to be in the PL to have played in the PL?
