Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

We're sleepwalking here through to February.

No urgency, no will to show ambition by this club's owners.

If you thought the fight was almost over, you better roll up your sleeves again.
You’re all over the place with this Dave.

One minute you're saying we’re down after we binned Dyche, then you’re saying we were always safe anyway after we put a bit of a gap between us and the bottom, now we’re in a fight again.

Which is it going to be tomorrow?

So now he knows what Broja and Chelsea want too? Quite clear from the second Moyes mentioned it at one of the pressers he wants Broja returned if it’s possible, Chelsea being a financially savvy business will almost certainly let this happen if Everton pay them a penalty fee on top, giving them more than they would get if we were just stuck with his wages.

This comes down to how much Chelsea want on top of his wages and if we value that loan spot and it’s importance to us at the same or similar financial amount. The player will have little to no say in this either.
I have no clue what he knows, i dont subscribe to any of his stuff myself. Basically selling rumors to other supporters seems a bit scummy to me.
I assume, unless we have a clause to terminate the loan, we’re stuck with him.

I read the bobble is a hat that likes to post starting xi's 4 minutes before they are released to sell subscriptions to a podcast
And youre right. I didnt post what i did because i put any stock in what he says, but i know others in here does and it might be of interest to them. I stopped paying attention to ITKs after the whole Witsel/Mata fiasco some years back.

Here’s a conundrum: DCL scores two against Brighton, Arsenal bid £20m.

Do we keep a fired up striker who may or may not leave for nothing, or bathe in PSR riches.

Moyes press conference on transfers:

"I cant promise [signings] but I'm quite confident we'll try and get something done before then."

That's the sound of supporters being 'managed'.

Expect f.a.
What do you want him to say we will 100% bring players in is what any manager would say is a tough window. I get the frustration becuase i feel the same, also about the fb position is tough because of the money this window. Is not long left so will find out who is right

Come on Thelwell do something...

20m of pure book profit could cover 80m worth of signings PSR wise, or at the very least would cover a 40-50m replacement. Even if DCL did move onto a whopping 5 goals for the season I think that would be a fairly easy decision.

Actually he was much more bullish and confident when we were only 1 point clear of the drop zone, than he is now that we’re 4 clear of it. It’s almost like he’s an AI spam bot that’s programmed to take a contrarian stance on everything.
