New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Getting a bit concerned with the amount of timber & scaffolding being delivered.
Someone posted it was for painting the metal frame around the bottom of the barrel cladding. It looks way more serious than that .
Has something gone wrong , if so it looks large scale.
All part of the snagging out process hopefully 🙏

If it is an issue mate, I'm sure we'll find out. For all we know, it could be a coating needed for protection against the salt water air or something like that.

If it's to do with a leaking roof issue, we'll better to get it sorted now before the 1st test event.

We need each event to run as smoothly as possible and iron out any teething troubles.

Still lots to do as well

The stones on the South Stand for Everton way
I think the lighting will be changed (external)
Stadium sponsor branding on roof
Everton branding in and around stadium
Electronic advertising around stadium
Transport details for crowd arrival/dispersal

From what I've gathered it's just to paint the metal on the south stand , like they've been doing on the north stand these last couple of weeks.

My thoughts are if it was a simple paint job that could have been done with a lightweight cherry picker , but that's an awful lot of scaffold for such a menial job.

Maybe we are being a tad nosey but there's nobody saying what it's actually for.

As you say there's a few things that need remedying atm hopefully it's all in hand as everything else has been smoother than what we thought.

We'll know it's screwed when the first test event gets postponed cos the pitch is too small!

But yeah, the scaffolding...I think with it being so low down it makes me think maybe it isn't the leak unless all the lattice structure somehow plays a part in overseeing the overflow of water.

It would be great if someone knew what they were doing it for though and letting us know.

I would like to think we would have known by now if it was something serious.

That said, I'd have thought they would have something set up so they could paint using harnesses on a wire. Just going to put it down to H&S.
