Well Moyes better learn quickly - if you play Harrison, DCL and Doucoure, we're going to lose.

Unfortunately, defensive managers love players like that - those entirely bereft of attacking quality but they work hard - so I won’t hold my breath.

I appreciate miracles cannot happen and we're in a state, but it was classic Moyes, really. Wrong subs and too late.

What a boring club to support. Every game is like groundhog day.

Won't do.anything until most of this squad is punted and replaced. Doesn't matter who's in charge.

To a certain degree I agree BUT who was the team going for it at the end, under Dyche we`d have defended that game out.

We had chances.... This is Everton FC, we have been nothing for the last 40 years and we will be nothing for the rest of my time on this planet, this club won`t win anything in the next 40 years.

Only thing changed with a new manager was DCL managed to go from utter crap to the worst player in England

Give Beto a chance, he couldn't be any worse than DCL. Bin Harrison off. Get some new players in and we will be okay

Need a goalscorer patently obvious but on the plus side at least we had the ball now and again. Should have made the last two subs 10 minutes earlier. Definitely should have had a pen, one of those two challenges should have been given. We need PACE !

Thought Doucoure was decent for Villa there

He came as a midfield disruptor, the only thing he disrupts now is our forward play.

The players we expected to play poorly, played poorly

Villa are clearly a good side but I feel this has been largely self inflicted with the sloppy play for their goal and two very very bad finishes

we gave them 4 easy chances . We are lucky they converted just one . Brantwaithe was abmysable tonight. He did believe his own hype but needs to get much better on the ball to be a real decent player

I had to get out of work early to go to this, time I’ll have to work back

It then took me roughly 4 hours to get there due to a crash on the motorway

I missed the first 25 minutes of the game

Now I’ve got a long drive home before getting a scant few hours sleep before being up early for work

And that absolute drivel was my reward
