New Everton Stadium

That was the single most stressful thing I have ever done. Horrendous, 10:01, tickets in the basket spent 15 minutes with my two ideal seats in my basket cause it wouldn't let me progress into the purchasing page. Told me to refresh the page to resolve the issue, binned my tickets out, then they were then not available, nor anything around me. Searched for another two together, went back and across, picked out the next two, put in basket, Then I was given a notice that I was a staff purchaser and couldn't purchase the number I wanted. Started again, managed to get the exact same two seats, checked the details, seat, block etc, paid, then the receipt detailed a different block number which is further towards the corner than the seats I'd put in my basket.

It shouldn't be this difficult. Id consider myself fairly tech savvy, I really feel for those that aren't.
I had the same issue being on the site at 10:01, being told I was a Staff Purchaser and it was telling me I had to bin off one of the 3 tickets I wanted. At lot of swearing, refreshing, and eventually got the 3 seats behind the original 3 I wanted.
You can guarantee Everton always know how to make life tough for you

Are season cards a thing of the past?

E-tickets only?
Yeah got that when processed my tickets today also msg the club earlier Hi Michael, Everton Stadium will be a digital-first stadium and new technologies will be used to enhance and improve the supporter experience across the stadium. The Club is exploring and developing policies that will ensure assistance and support is available for those who need it. More information on the entry process at Everton Stadium will be communicated ahead of the stadium opening for events and matches.

Just sorted mine in the South Stand lower tier row 24. Wanted a a similar view to what I've currently got in the Street End. This is the view from my seat.

Had the same problems buying it that others had earlier in this thread had with bizarrely being told I was a staff member and couldn't purchase the number I wanted. I only wanted one and aren't a staff member!

That is interesting, and it stands to reason.

That news should please plenty in the Lower Gwladys anxiously awaiting their go.

It is only 90 minutes after they went on sale though, so it may change. But going off a bih slice of expectation and a large dollop of assumption, the more tech savvy, ticketmaster experienced individuals would be the younger group of 23+, so it may not change all that much. I woudl expect that 90% of those who could, woudl have bought by 7pm tonight. If I think on I'll check back later and see if much has changed.

You're right, it's early - but it's still an interesting indicator.

We could very easily get into over-analysis based on limited data - but as far as tech-savvy goes, I think that's a much broader slice of the demographic than it was 20 years ago. I also read a well-reasoned piece that said those in their 30s and 40s are likely more tech-savvy than the younger generation, as we had to grow up puzzling out confusing and clunky technology - but were still young enough when the Internet and smart phones exploded to have got into those on the ground floor.
