Get the criticism but he is better than Dyche at what he does. Dyche has NO idea in attack, at least Moyes can be effective there with counter attacks.

It seems that just about everyone is better at Dyche though, it is one of the lowest bars in the Prem

We were pretty unforgiving of him at the time. The stick he took was pretty bad. I felt he deserved it at the time for the Baines/Fellaini bid and comments, but if he's put the abuse behind him, maybe we should recognise he was doing the best for the club he was at. We wouldn't expect him to show any sympathy for West Ham in negotiations for one of their players.

He's not my first choice by any means. I'm concerned he hasn't really got the stomach any more if the going gets tough. His comments about taking another job as long as it wasn't a difficult one are a bit of a red flag for me, and is much rather we'd gone for Galtieri, Gasperini or Fonseca. We don't know if any of them would have come or would struggle if they did, e.g., with language.

We know as well as anyone Moyes has his faults, but in his career, there are many more seasons where his teams, including us, overperformed in relation to their player wage bill and squad value relative to other teams in the league, which are the statistics that best predict league position. It's no guarantee, but it's an indicator that he's a good manager.

It's far from exciting, but it's not awful.
