That was exactly the moment I was thinking about. Just relieved a potentially nervy spell.

He's played fine when called upon overall. Not sure why you'd have such a problem with him.

Thought to myself when that happened that Pickford would have come for the punch there and probably the attack would've rolled on. It's the one aspect of Pickford's game that could be improved, I think.

Noticed he has JVIRGINIA on the back of his shirt. Anybody know why that is? Just seems a bit odd.

Its a Portuguese speaking thing. He is Joao Virginia in the same way that Roberto Carlos is that and not just Carlos. (Or Roberto I suppose).
