People comparing Moyes to when he last managed the club, he’s a different animal now. With the hammers he was using 3-4-3 and 4-2-3-1 and showed he can set the team up to be dangerous on the counter and on set pieces. He improved players such as Rice, Bowan and his recruitments been decent aswell with the likes of Paqueta and Aguerd. Plus the fact he got the Hammers as European regulars and winning a cup. He knows us inside and out, thrives on limited budget. He's exactly what we need to steady the ship, move us up the table and who knows with the proper backing where he could take us.
He beat any big teams?

Don’t tell anyone but he still alive
It certainly feels like it!

Remember that recurring Spitting Image sketch where Maggie Thatcher would have chats over her garden fence with the neighbour, Adolf Hitler?

That's what's happened here. Kenwright did a Reggie Perrin, faked his demise, and is living in a Laing O'Rourke portacabin at Bramley-Moore dock with only Uncle Cyril's handblebars for company. Colin Chong has been paying him visits...

Would be a pragmatic move on a short term deal. He can hit the ground running and do the job he did previously moving away from the bottom and further up the league.

Far better appointment than a Southgate/Potter type in my view
He’s a better fit at least for point in time

Nope. Such a myth has built up about this man. Limited budget ? He spent half a billion at West Ham. Almost relegated us. He is no longer a safe pair of hands.
I genuinely think you might go down if this happens.

Why do so many people assume there's a long list of available candidates who want to come here and out of all of them we've gone for Moyes?

Isn't the far more likely reality that we have very few options given we are in a mess still, and this is the most practical appointment to improve our chances of survival?

So weird that people are having go at TFG based on a hypothetical scenario we've passed over load of other more "progressive" names.

Who are also avaliable and able to take the team next week.

He got West Ham punching above their weight.
