He's probably walked off with 5m at least

people are to delicate, maybe untrue but if he has said he wants out, after getting the backing from the new owners then the goodbye is in keeping with what he deserves.

Although it was time for him to go, given the results and performances this season, one must bear in mind that he joined halfway through a season when we looked doomed, and kept us up. And last season, in spite of two points deductions, kept us up.
I'm no apologist for him, and agree it was time for him to go, but I believe he saved this club for two seasons...

I think the fact dyche and Ian Woan were known to be out the night before games has played a part in this.

….it is a terse club statement, ‘relieved of his duties’ sounds almost like a disciplinary matter, especially with no ‘thank-you’ for his service. Very odd.

I dare say it’ll all come out.

He was probably offered every opportunity to 'part ways' by mutual consent.
Obviously he didn't want to go . . . so he has been sacked.
ANY sacking is a disciplinary matter surely? Why dress it up?
